Alysia Maciejowska is a Glasgow based producer working towards her first feature. She recently produced the SFTN / BFI Network New Talent Shorts, BUNNY – written and directed by Shaun Hughes, which has screened at international festivals including Dublin, Edinburgh and Tampere – and DO NO HARM, written by Rosy Barnes and directed by Douglas King, currently in post.
She produces films and commercials for corporate clients, was recently Production Manager on Marilyn Edmund’s debut feature CONNECT and PA to the lead actor, writer and exec producer on the US feature THEN CAME YOU (w. Kathie Lee Gifford / d. Adriana Trigiani). Starting her film career in the camera dept, working with directors including Nicolas Roeg, Adrian Shergold and Antonia Bird, she has a further background in business development and marketing. She is a BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew mentee, an alumna of the Sigma Films Producer Accelerator programme, EIFF Talent Lab, Stowe Story Labs and was participant of BFI NETWORK @ LFF18.
Alysia currently has a number of features in development, including DRESSERS with writer Marc Pye, BUNNY with writer/director Shaun Hughes, and the highly anticipated adaptation by Scottish writer and poet Jenni Fagan of her own novel THE PANOPTICON, directed by Jim Loach (ORANGES & SUNSHINE, MEASURE OF A MAN) and working with producing partners Lindsay McGee (Braw Films) and Camilla Bray (Rosetta Productions) which they plan to shoot in early 2020.
