I am a producer based between Glasgow and Devon, with the odd stint in London.
Graduating from the University of Glasgow with a joint MA (Hons) in Film & Television Studies and Anthropology in 1999, I entered the film industry as a Camera Assistant, working mostly on features and dramas out of London and Glasgow. I took an extended hiatus after founding the practical how-to and advice platform for women, BookshelfBoyfriend.com. After which I project managed and developed social enterprises in the cultural sector, before setting up the digital marketing and web design agency, West Country Website Company, which I am still a director of today. During this time I also produced a number of corporate projects for online, DVD sale and in-house distribution.
My decision to return to the industry in 2015 was driven by my passion for good drama and desire to facilitate more diversity on screen and behind the camera. As Moquette Films I am currently developing a wide ranging slate of shorts, features and high end television drama. I also set up Junkyard Dog Films with screenwriter Marc Pye and actor Simon Weir.
