Three young boys find their identity and purpose in life in this rites of passage story set in 1980’s Motherwell.
The first ever Scottish film about 80’s lad culture, one-upmanship, football, fashion and music. Inspired by real life stories and the book of the same name, DRESSERS tells the fictional story of three small-town boys at the centre of the Scottish football casual scene and the pioneers of a fashion that became central to Saturday afternoon fracas in town centres and football grounds all over Scotland. This is a story of Scottish life in the 80’s, working class youth culture, the moment when football took a back seat as rave culture exploded onto the scene, and the allegiances formed on the terraces that grew to form strong friendships lasting over thirty years.
